'Suicide'- Solution to depression???

Hello Readers. How much do you love yourself??How much do you love your parents, your family??Have you ever been in a state of depression??Have you ever thought of harming yourself??

I almost jumped out of my skin while talking to one of my old friends ( currently studying in KOTA ) a couple of days ago!! He revealed to me the ‘DARK’ unknown phase of student’s life in KOTA, the pressure they all go through during these years and the ‘WORST’ solution ( SUICIDE ) they choose to get rid of all such troubles. Indeed, it didn’t take me even seconds to  understand the ‘REASON’ behind it….

I have always been lucky to have my parents ( my strength) beside me all through my hardships, success and failure. But, some unlucky ones have to leave their homes and family and spend the most crucial years of their lives all alone in a strange place. Understandably, they live in their own world of burdens of expectations. And the unluckiest ones get stuck into it!!!

We need to understand that we are not  ‘Money-Investment’ for our parents. Neither do they expect us to be the best in the world ( because we already are). We are their loved ones and will always be. They just expect us to do our best. They are least bothered even if we lose in the ‘Battle of Academics’. But they are the ‘Real losers’ if we lose in the ‘Battle of life’ because then, they lose their priceless ornaments i.e. “US”. It may take seconds for us to get rid of all worldly troubles by committing suicide but, it may take years ( or may be entire life ) for them to get rid  of depression we gave to them!!

Was it their fault for loving us so much??Was it their fault for considering us as their ‘Real World’??Do they really deserve this distress in return of their ‘unconditional’ love and care??Just give yourself a minute from your busy schedule and think about all these questions, think about your parents before you even dare to think of harming yourself…..

P.S.—Life was never a cake-walk for me either. A time came when I started considering myself as ‘Loser’. But then, I had the most powerful weapons who helped me in proving myself wrong. I will be sharing more about it in my next blog.
